Laureate of Lithuanian National Prize, conductor, prof. Saulius Sondeckis:
“The activities of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Fund deserve the highest recognition and the most beautiful words of admiration.
Vladimir Spivakov, a distinguished personality, a representative of the Russian cultural elite, and one of the most acclaimed musicians in the world, has devoted much of his creative life to the younger generation. It opens the way for young people to discover and develop their talents.
The first steps on the stage, participation in concerts organized by the Foundation, are closely watched by the great Maestro himself and his closest associates, Ekaterina Shirman and Piotr Gulko. One can only dream of such care for young people.
I look to the future with confidence as the next generation of the music elite comes boldly. As a musician, I am amazed at the Foundation's meticulous and high-quality selection of patrons, not only in Russia but almost all over the world. The scale of the Foundation's activities is staggering, and only talented people can do such work. I hope that the relations between Lithuania and Spivakov Foundation will strengthen and bring great benefits to the youth of our country.
I wholeheartedly welcome this cooperation, and especially because Irena Zacharova, director of the Slavic School of Traditional Music, represents the activities of the Spivakov Foundation in Lithuania as an excellent organizer of the "Dialogue between Cultures" program. Recognizing her as a tireless promoter of Russian music culture in Lithuania and remembering her well-organized concerts of Russian and Lithuanian musicians, I have no doubt that the foundation will also receive valuable support. ”

The festival is organized by the Slavic School of Traditional Music.
